After approval by the company’s production department and consultation with steel mills, it plans to invest in Xigaoyi Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. and Hejin Hongda Special Steel Co., Ltd. for testing.
The new type of ladle castable can increase the heat preservation effect of the ladle, effectively reduce the tapping temperature of the converter, shorten the smelting time, save energy and reduce consumption in the steel plant, but also play a certain role in increasing the life of the converter. The temperature of the continuous casting tundish is more stable and controllable, and the temperature of the tundish is still stable in the later stage of the steel casting. The temperature drop rate of the common material is reduced from 2″C per minute to 1-1.5″C per minute, so that The molten steel crystal is more stable, which improves the quality of the billet to a certain extent.
The ladle castable test has achieved a breakthrough success, and has the conditions for promotion, production and use, laying the foundation for improving the efficiency of ladle use, increasing production capacity, and optimizing production organization in the future.
